Treasurer of the Blayney Agricultural and Pastoral Association Inc Tamara Miller said despite the small delays during entry, leading to cars being backed up to Nixon's Transport building, the crowds were good-natured.
"Everyone was just so happy to be out and about on such a beautiful day," she said.
"There was no whinging at all about the delay, everyone was really upbeat and understanding."
With the equestrian centre drawing attention from horse loving groups from around the central west when the show isn't on, there was a huge increase in entries in the horse sections.
"There were over 200 horses entered across 900 different events, it was the best I'd ever seen it," said president Phil Nankivell.
It wasn't all about the horses though, stock numbers across the board were up on previous years.
"Not only were the horse numbers up but so were the stud sheep and cattle numbers," Mr Nankivell said.
