Dayna Crystal Isaac, 26, of Eglinton, appeared before magistrate Kevin Hockey on Wednesday.
Ms Isaac and her husband Mikkel Isaac were charged by police last week following a long-running investigation into the supply of prohibited drugs.
Her barrister, Stephen Molloy, indicated to the court that Ms Isaac would be making a release application, though her husband would not be. His matter was adjourned to May 17, with brief orders served.
Mr Molloy said there were a number of factors for the court's consideration in the show cause application.
He said Ms Isaac was 26 years old, had never been in custody before, nor convicted of an offence.

He also said there were six co-accused in the case and, subsequently, the police brief could be expected to be very large. As such, delays in its preparation could be expected.
Mr Molloy said there appears to be phone intercepts which will have to be put into transcripts and there might even be a need for translators, which he said would likely cause further delays.
He said his client had strong support from her family with her step-father and mother at court, and her father had agreed to put up a $30,000 deposit to assure the court of her future attendance.
The court heard the accused was also 10 weeks pregnant and had a 19-month-old baby in the care of relatives.
Mr Molloy said if she were to remain in custody she would certainly have the baby in jail, which he said was "far from ideal".
He also raised concerns of the risk to his client as a result of the stress of being in custody.
Mr Molloy questioned the strength of the Crown case, saying there was a chance the quantity of the drug in Ms Isaac's matter might fall below a commercial quantity.
Crown prosecutor Sergeant Darren Pearce submitted it was too early to predict if there would be any delays. He also said there was an unacceptable risk in releasing Ms Isaac, which included her potentially interfering with prosecution witnesses.
He said her involvement was "extensive and prolonged" and she was involved in the course of events in an intricate way.
Sgt Pearce also submitted to the court that there was a flight risk and there was no indication where the $30,000 in surety was coming from.
In deciding the release application Mr Hockey said the length of time in custody was a relevant factor, as was family vulnerability and hardship.
He noted the accused had no prior convictions, had a 19-month-old child being cared for by relatives and was 10 weeks pregnant, which he said were significant points for the court to consider.
He said he was satisfied cause has been shown.
Ms Isaac was granted bail with strict conditions including reporting to police three days a week, not to contact or approach witnesses nor any contact with any of the co-accused, including her husband.
The matter will be back before the court on May 17.
