With the track in good condition and the rain staying away, the event was well received by competitors, with some travelling as far away as Victoria to compete at the qualifier.
Panorama Motorcycle Club hosted the event at its track on the Mount across Saturday and Sunday and club president Bruce Morgan said it was a great weekend.
"We were blessed with the weather. We had 300 entries, so it was a pretty hectic weekend, with the juniors on Saturday and seniors on the Sunday," he said.

"There were more juniors then seniors, but the day went really well.
"It was tops, the track was the best I've ever seen it. The volunteers did a fantastic job to get it ready."
Morgan said the reception from visitors was positive.
"They loved it. It's one of the best tracks in NSW and we've actually got two of the best racing tracks in NSW, with the race track and the motocross track," he said.
"We're trying to turn that side of the track into a parkland. When I started, that side of the track was full of bushes and you'd have trouble seeing the riders if they fell off.
"In the early days they use to put tires around the edge of the track. Now we've slowly got rid of all that and made it looked it look really schmick."
Morgan said there were plenty of good performances from the local contingent, including junior Lily Kovac.
"She got two tickets to the finals after the qualifier Moree which was ran last month and she raced well again on the weekend," he said.
"It was a top day. We even had some people from Victoria. They all came and most of them camped at the top of the Mount. They were very well behaved, they had a great time in town and they're all hoping to come back.
"A lot of them had never been up to the track before, so they were really surprised with what we have and we've got a really good committee that helped put it together."
The Bathurst qualifier was one of five qualifiers, with the southern qualifier having been already been held at Tantawanglo, near Bega, on February 13-14, on the same days Moree hosted the northern qualifier.
Wagga Wagga will be hosting the Riverina qualifier on April 17-18, before the final qualifier which will be end in the south-west Sydney semi-rural suburb of Oakdale on May 15-16.
The King of MX finals will be held on June 12-14 at Cessnock.
