Excitement is building among schools, businesses and organisations in the region who are gearing up for the event.
The day, raises money for Ronald McDonald House Charities Orange, which supports sick children and their families from the Central and Far West.
And the best thing is it's simple... all you have to do is register, wear something red, and ask for a gold coin donation.
Every dollar raised from the event stays in Orange and ensures Ronald McDonald House can keep its doors open.
Ken Barwick, principal of Bathurst High School, who came up with the idea five years ago, said he was stoked with the support the event has been shown.

Last year over 60 schools, pre-schools and businesses joined in the spirit of the day by dressing up in red and making a gold coin donation to the cause.
By Monday evening, the event had reached 87 registrations, 16 more than last year.
"I cannot express my appreciation of their willingness to organise activities in their business, school or community organisation," Mr Barwick said.
Kenny Spring Solicitors are one business getting involved, and they have issued a challenge to other businesses in Bathurst..
Simone Townsend, Chief Executive Officer of Kenny Spring Solicitors said they are are calling on all community groups and Bathurst businesses to help make Bathurst the highest Central West fundraising town.
She said Kenny Spring were involved in the day last year.
"We have a couple of close connections to Ronald McDonald House in Orange, so we wanted to do our bit of help support it.
"It's the type of thing you hope you never have to use, but it's great to have it here for the community if they need it," she said.
She said it was not too late to register and already many Bathurst businesses are jumping on board to support this Bathurst initiated fundraiser. To be part of the fundraising event register your business at http://bit.ly/wearredday21
