Current restrictions allow for 100 per cent capacity at seated stadiums, with all 1000 seats in the grandstand at Carrington Park available for the NRL match between Penrith Panthers and Manly Sea Eagles on May 1.

But as Carrington Park is not an all-seated stadium, Bathurst Regional Council will be required to follow NSW Health guidelines and limit numbers at non-seated areas because of social distancing rules.

However, there isn't a revised capacity on how many people can attend the match with the reduced capacity because of social distancing.

Previous capacity estimates have been between 11,000-12,000.

The record attendance at Carrington Park currently stands at 10,973, which was achieved in 2019 when Melbourne defeated Penrith 32-2.

The lowest crowd at Carrington Park an NRL fixture was back in 2015, when Penrith thumped Gold Coast 40-0.

Panthers have taken one of its home games out to Bathurst every year since 2014, except for 2020 when the fixture was scrapped and relocated back to Penrith because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Tickets have been on sale for the NRL match since March 19, with council currently offering three tiers of pricing to encourage early ticket sales.

Tickets are available via Ticketek and through BathurstNRL.com.au.

This year's game will be end the same weekend as the Royal Bathurst Show.
