AFTER the tumultuous - but quiet - year at 2MCE during 2020, it's a wonderful sound of "testing, testing" and "is this thing on?", clearing throats and warming up the vocal chords as broadcasting, journalism and communication students return to the 2MCE studios.

... And Now Back To The Music!
EACH Monday from 6.30pm, Sophie, Noah and Joe test your musical brains in ... And Now Back To The Music!
Every week they play a great range of songs and you have to guess the theme.
Get involved by listening, yelling your guess at the radio, or texting in your guess on 0412 009 923.
Sophie, Noah and Joe are first year communication students eager to entertain, play some great music and engage with their listeners.
Play your part in their learning, just by tuning in.
The Late Late Yet Very Early Show
IF you're an extra-early bird, a late night owl, or just awake in the middle of the night and love great music, join Noah Secomb as he presents The Late Late Yet Very Early Show Thursday nights at midnight. Or is that Friday morning?
However you wish to describe it, Noah will keep you company with some classic hits, not-so-famous B-sides, a focus on a genre or artist, important albums of history, and whatever else he might feel like playing for you.
It will either serve as an introduction to your day, or a musical end, depending on your circadian rhythm.
Noah is a first year Charles Sturt communication student keen to share his musical knowledge.
But wait, there's more
NOT only will you hear student voices in their own programs, but they're also working as producers, social media managers and data collectors behind the scenes.
It's a team effort here at 2MCE with students and community volunteers working together to bring you your community radio.
If you've been listening to Evening Music on Wednesday, you'll have heard students co-hosting the program, or maybe presenting Aus Music Showcase on Mondays at 1pm.
Our students are also reading in the Talking Newspaper and producing the news stories for Community Drive. It certainly is fantastic to have them back.
Motorsport is back
THE voice of motorsport, legendary Zak Caban, is back on 2MCE bringing you the latest in the sport.
From this week, Zak will be calling round one of each of the six rounds in the 2021 Motorsport Australia Queensland Series x3 Championship.
Zak will also be featuring interviews with drivers as well as the latest news from the sport around the world.
Motorsport is on Tuesdays from 10pm.
