ANOTHER section of Bells Line of Road has reopened to two lanes of traffic following a massive landslip in heavy weather three weeks ago.

Work has been completed to safely reopen to two lanes of traffic near Rainbow Ravine Road, the site of the original landslip, west of Mount Tomah.
However, changed traffic conditions remain in place including traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h.

Motorists are advised to expect delays, plan their trip and continue to use alternative routes where possible, especially if travelling to the central west. This includes allowing additional travel time, driving to the conditions and following the directions of signs and traffic control.
Transport for NSW is continuing to monitor Bells Line of Road however slopes will be susceptible to future weather events that may result in planned or unplanned closures.
