Ms Inwood has been announced as one of the recipients of the 2021 Horizon Scholarship, which aims to develop the next generation of rural leaders.
The scholarship is an an initiative supported by six research and development corporations, along with the Cooperative Research Centre for Developing Northern Australia and agricultural chemical company FMC Australasia.

The judging process focused on applicants' commitment to agriculture, leadership potential and career aspirations.
Ms Inwood, who graduated from the Scots School (now Scots All Saints College) in 2017, is sponsored by FMC Australasia and will receive a $10,000 bursary over two years and a number of opportunities to develop her leadership skills and expand her networks.
On top of the bursary, she will also attend an annual four-day professional development workshop and complete two weeks of industry placement, covered by the support of their sponsor.
Ms Inwood, who is studying a Bachelor of Agriculture/Bachelor of Law at the University of New England, said she was pleased to receive the scholarship.
"Not only will it open doors and connect me with industry professionals, but I will gain valuable experience in agricultural innovation and technologies," she said.
