The next gig scheduled at the venue's Little Alberts space [this Friday from 6pm] will feature award-winning contemporary folk duo Saije, with support from local favourite Andy Nelson.
The Victoria Bathurst brand and event manager Meg McKenna said Discover NSW vouchers are accepted at the venue, with proceeds going to the artist.
"With the Discover vouchers worth $25, they pair well with our ticketed live music events, many of which are normally $25 on the door, so it's a great opportunity for people who haven't been able to experience Little Alberts before," Ms McKenna said.
"Along with the Dine vouchers, which cover food and drink, the scheme essentially entitles visitors to a free night out at our venue."
Ms McKenna said the scheme has been positively received by patrons since its launch in February.
"It's a great initiative by the government, and we've seen a positive flow-on effect among patrons looking to expand their entertainment palette," she said.
"The scheme is especially beneficial for people who might feel a little strapped for cash from time to time, and we generally host gigs at Little Alberts on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights."
Other live music events coming up at Little Alberts include A Night of Underground Folk [April 30], a Creedence Clearwater Revival Classic Album Night [May 13], Owen Campbell [May 15] and a show featuring hits from the US West Coast in the 1970s [May 20].
"The vouchers are redeemable until June 30, so there's plenty of time to take advantage of the scheme," Ms McKenna said.
Dine and Discover NSW was launched to encourage local communities to support their dining, arts and tourism businesses.
Visitors intending to use a voucher at Little Alberts must still register their attendance through Eventbrite to ensure numbers.
