This year's Anzac Day march has been severely restricted due to coronavirus restrictions, with only current and ex-service men and women allowed to participate.
Seats at Sunday's service at the Carillon from 11.50am will also be reserved for current and ex-service men and women only.
While the march and service will be restricted, the Bathurst RSL Sub Branch has allowed a special wreath laying ceremony on Friday, with representatives from 17 schools planning to attend.

One of those schools is Holy Family School Kelso and principal Kevin Arrow is pleased that some of his students will be able to attend.
"The RSL's decision was for schools and community groups to not participate in the march on Sunday, so instead the RSL Sub Branch has allowed schools to attend on Friday," he said.
"It fits in well with the COVID regulations and it's good that school representatives will get an opportunity to lay a wreath."
Mr Arrow believes the opportunity on Friday for his school's representatives will be a meaningful one.
"It'll be good for them in this standalone moment to represent the school and remember the sacrifice on Anzac Day," he said.
Friday's wreath laying ceremony will get underway from 12.30pm at the Carillon.
For Sunday's march, people will be permitted to line the streets and watch, but people will be required to follow current social distancing laws.
Services will also be held at locations across the Bathurst region at Yetholme (8.30am), Rockley (8.30am) and Sofala (2pm), as well as the Eighth Australian Division National Memorial (Broken Blade) in front of BMEC from 11.55am.
The Sunset War Graves Service will be held at 5.15pm at the cemetery, while the Retreat and Lowering of the Colours will happen at the Carillon from 6pm.
