A spokesperson from Fire and Rescue NSW said crews responded to vehicle fires in Browning Street on Sunday night and then another on Monday, before receiving the most recent call-out just before 4am on Tuesday morning.
While the first two incidents were at or near a commercial property toward the eastern end of the road, Tuesday's blaze was slightly further down the street and caused significant damage to a white Toyota Corolla, which carried red P plates.
The damage to the vehicle was said to be irreparable and the blaze appeared to be deliberately lit although that was unconfirmed. Fire and Rescue NSW have corresponded with Chifley Police District, which is now said to be investigating the string of fires.
One Fire and Rescue crew was tasked to Tuesday morning's incident and the blaze was extinguished within half an hour, in an estimated 20 minutes.
