The Cup is decided by the accumulative total of the scores across all grades in matches between the Cowra Magpies and Bathurst Panthers each season.
With Sunday's League Tag ending in a 12-all draw and the under 18s fixture finishing in a 17-14 win to Panthers the result was in the balance going into the final match of the day.
It wasn't until the second half of the First Division match that the result became clear with Panthers running away with the game after the score was 16-10 in favour of Panthers at the half time break.
The Magpies opened the scoring in the first match and were well in contention to record an upset win after first half tries to Jake Pollard and Noah Ryan.
However, as has been the case all season the Magpies paid heavily for their mistakes and allowed Panthers to take the lead 16-10 with a try three minutes from the break.
St Pat's lost its first division match to Mudgee Dragons on Saturday 30-4 at the Jack Arrow Sporting Complex.
Panthers now have the next fortnight off before taking on Lithgow Workies at Carrington Park in Bathurst on Sunday, May 30.
