The Youth Council is open to young people aged 15-18 and provides opportunities to participate in the community by organising events, having a say on local issues and working on projects that support and encourage young people.
Bathurst mayor Bobby Bourke urged young people to consider a spot on the youth council, saying being a member would provide many benefits to individuals who join.
