With a combined experience of almost two decades, Calare Skin & Beauty owners Charlotte Jeffery and Natalie Hodges are excited to join The Church Block family.
"We are really blessed to be part of the growing community out here in Eglinton," Ms Hodges said.
"We wanted to create beautiful services in a boutique-style environment to match the growth of this gorgeous little hub within The Church Block Café."
It's been just over two years since The Church Block Café opened with owners Peter and Lisa Davis always intending on having a number of small businesses operating at the venue.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
While business slowed down during Covid, The Church Block is now up and running with Mindful Movements yoga studio joining in January 2020 and Calare Skin & Beauty jumping on board earlier this year.
"It was a bit of a slow year last year to push forward with new business but since then we've now built on the yoga, the yoga is getting quite established, and we've also got the new business with Calare Skin & Beauty," Mrs Davis said.
"We are now starting to see the whole complex coming together and I also have my quilting studio out the back."
A one-stop-shop for anyone looking to slow down and recuperate, The Church Block is the first of its kind in Eglinton.
"It's sort of a wellness vibe between the coffee culture and then the beauty and the yoga, it creates that atmosphere of the holistic approach," Mindful Movements owner Tegan Hartmann said.
"A lot of the people who come for the yoga are drawn to the church because it's got that really serine vibe."
The venue also focuses on creating a family-friendly environment, with all three businesses open Saturday mornings to accommodate for working families.
"I think people are looking for that work-life balance and I think that's what we're offering here," Mrs Davis said.
With plans to expand on what The Church Block has to offer currently in the works, Mrs Davis is happy with their local, loyal customers.
