Books for the sale are priced from $1 to $3, with books either weeded from the library's collection because they're either old or not being borrowed, and donated from the public.
People who wish to donate books to sale are urged to call ahead according to library services Lisa Holloway.

"We like people to ring before donating because we like to know the kind of books they're donating," she said.
"We like books that are in good condition and are from the past 12-18 months and it also helps with the space we have before a book sale."
Each month the library sells roughly 400-500 at the book sale, which is currently held on the first weekend of the month.
The sale will operate the same hours the library is open, from 10am-6pm on Friday and 10am-3pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
The sale went on hiatus last year during the coronavirus pandemic, with the first sale post the pandemic in February.
