Hailing from the Blue Mountains, the male choir has spent the last two decades gleefully disturbing audiences throughout Australia, NZ and the UK with their voices, a nice line in deadpan and an ill-matched set of hats.
Choirmaster Stephen Taberner said the group takes influence from Soviet-era Georgian choirs, with a strong focus on the male condition and tomfoolery.
"Our performances include everything from authentic Georgian numbers to ridiculous parodies of existing pop songs," Mr Taberner said.
"We try to take audiences on a journey to a number of different places so they can experience a wide range of emotions, including awe, hilarity and beauty."
The Spooky Men's Chorale last performed locally in 2017 as part of the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre's [BMEC] annual season.
The group's Friday gig will take place at Keystone 1889 from 8pm.
Tickets cost $30 for adults, $15 for students and teenagers and $10 for children under 12, and are available online at www.humanitix.com/au.
