Tracey and her husband Lutz, daughter Candice and son Michael, will be joined by Amanda Boon and Glenn Clarke in this years Mystery Box Rally which leaves Rockhampton on July 31.
Amanda is Tracey's cousin, who is coming over from New Zealand especially for the rally.
Mrs Duddek said she will be competing with Amanda, while Lutz will drive with Candice, and Michael will be driving with Glenn Clarke.
Teams competing in the rally will drive their own 25 plus year old cars along a mystery route in a unique five-day challenge, all in the name of cancer research.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
Mrs Duddek said the route is a loop starting and finishing at the same location, but all the other details are kept under wraps, only given to the teams each morning.
"So we won't know where we are going until the start of each morning," she said.
"We will be covering 3,500km in five days, they will give us a map at the beginning of the day, we won't know the route, we will just figure it out on the day.
"We will just go wherever they tell us, and eventually end back at Rockhampton," she said.
Mrs Duddek said it's the first time she has ever been in a rally, though her husband Lutz and daughter Candice competed back in 2019.
She said she can't wait to be part of it.
"It's very exciting," she said.
She said her Dad, Ian Monk passed away from cancer, which is why they wanted to be part of the event, which raises money for cancer research.
So they family decided 2021 was the year they will all compete, though, they will be in three separate entries.
All up about 250 cars are in the rally, with cars split into 'buddy groups' consisting of six to seven cars.
Mrs Duddek said each of the three entries are in a different group, with her son Michael driving a Hyundai Excel, she will be in a Holden Barina while her husband Lutz will be in an old Toyota Seca.
She also said they have been busy fundraising.
"We have to raise $5,500 to compete, so we've been holding wood raffles and got sponsorship," she said adding her husband had received fantastic support from Devro, as had she from George Street medical practice and Medi Logic, based on the Central Coast.
So far Lutz's entry has raised $4,500 and Mrs Duddek has raised $4050.00.
