The club's outgoing president, Robert George, will induct incoming 2021-22 president Catherine Fitzsimons and the new board at a high tea event at Country Coffee this Sunday in a break from the traditional dinner affair.
"In a year that saw many changes and restrictions to their usual services and fundraising, Rotary Club of Bathurst Daybreak maintained their commitment to serving the local community with their volunteer assistance in events such as the B2B, Festival of Bells and Bathurst Winter Festival," the club's public relations director Jenny White said.
"The year started and finished on a high with the donation of bariatric chairs and the paediatric monitor equipment for the Bathurst Base Hospital."

With Rotary International celebrating 100 years in Australia, Ms White said the Rotary clubs of Bathurst this year combined their efforts to host an Australia Day breakfast and donated to the Veterans' Companion Dog Project, as well as presenting the annual RYDA (Rotary Youth Driver Awareness) and the Science and Engineering Challenge for local high school students and contributing to Perthville School's water bubbler project.
"The Rotary District 9705, which is almost the size of England and incorporates Bathurst Rotary clubs, also held their annual conference in Bathurst, bringing tourism and adding to Bathurst's economy at a time that was needed," Ms White said.
She said Rotary Club of Bathurst Daybreak meets for breakfast on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month and welcomes all inquiries.
