News emerged Thursday morning that NSW Agriculture Minister Adam Marshall had tested positive to the virus, while three other Nationals MPs have been forced to isolate after attending an exposure site
Mr Toole has been working in parliament since Monday and was due to return home on Thursday afternoon, but is now awaiting health advice.
He said he has not had close contact with Mr Marshall.
"We've had four members of the Nationals that are in isolation, we've got the health minister who's now in isolation, and we're just waiting on health advice this morning on what movement might be for regional MPs," he said.
According to Mr Toole, masks have been worn in parliament all week and staff numbers were reduced in light of the COVID-19 outbreak in Sydney.
