The Wiggles were due to play at Bathurst Memorial Centre on Sunday, July 11 but the show is one of six initially scheduled for next month which have now been postponed until September, with Orange's show also delayed.
After the government locked down Greater Sydney and imposed tighter restrictions on regional NSW on Saturday afternoon, the band was left with no choice but to make the necessary call to delay the opening week of shows.
We have a duty of care to do the right thing to protect the health and safety of our cast, crew and all of you. We'll Wiggle along with you in September.

In a statement released on their website and social media on Monday evening, The Wiggles said they were disappointed to postpone the shows, but also obligated to do so in keeping their focus on the well-being of fans around the state.
"Sadly due to current conditions pertaining to the Greater Sydney stay-at-home order we will be moving the first week of our ... shows," the statement said.
"The ... team continues to discuss the current situation daily to assess and respond to COVID-19. Our decisions and actions are being guided by advisors and the response from the ... government.

"Our focus will not waiver - it is on the health and well-being of you, our fans and our communities. Our decisions and actions will continue to be informed, balanced and measured."
Postponing the shows was not related to any known cases of COVID-19 among The Wiggles or their extended team, the statement continued, as the band also encouraged the community to be vigilant in the face of rising coronavirus concern.
Along with Bathurst's show The Wiggles' concerts at Penrith Panthers, Wenty Leagues, Katoomba RSL, Orange Function Centre and Wellington Civic Centre, all scheduled between July 8-13 were postponed until September.
The Wiggles' statement said Bathurst's show is now rescheduled for Sunday, September 26, with another announcement expected later this week relating to the rest of The Great Wiggly Road Trip Tour's July shows.
Tickets purchased for the original dates remain valid for the rescheduled shows but should people be unable to attend, they're urged to contact the vendor they purchased tickets from regarding refunds.
"We appreciate your understanding with these fast-moving changes. We have a duty of care to do the right thing to protect the health and safety of our cast, crew and all of you. We'll Wiggle along with you in September," The Wiggles' statement said.
