Graham has spent more than five years on board as the Central West Cricket Council (formerly Mitchell Cricket Council) as the deputy chairman, helping to co-ordinate the region's competitions like the President's Cup, Rod Hartas Trophy and junior competitions.

Graham said the time was right to start cutting back on some of his duties.

"I wanted to take a bit of a step back from the administration that I've done over the few years. I've got a couple of different things happening with my work and personal life," he said.

"I've worked with a well organised bunch of guys, with Mark Frecklington and Matt Tabbenor. I'm glad I was just able to lend them support and my knowledge of cricket in Bathurst and the Central West.

"It's been great to see both Bathurst and Orange get to a level where they're as strong as they are, and the smaller communities like Blue Mountains, Lithgow, Mudgee, Molong and others we're always looking to see as much cricket played as possible.

"Anything we can do to increase their participation is always good."

Graham currently serves as the vice-president of Bathurst Orange Inter District Cricket - a position that goes up for re-election this Monday evening at Panthers Bathurst.

"BOIDC we have the AGM upcoming on Monday and we'll see what happens there, but I'll definitely be staying involved with Bathurst cricket," he said.

"I just needed to lighten the workload with some of my outside interests. I want to concentrate on Bathurst cricket, which is without a secretary at the moment, so I have to put some more effort into that one until we find someone to fill that role.

"I took on the BDCA presidency for another year. There was a little bit of interest at the AGM but I said I was happy to stay on for one more year, if they were happy to have me."

The 2021-22 season will be the 10^th year of Graham holding the top position within BDCA.
