When the property went up for sale towards the beginning of May, listing agent from Incentive Real Estate, Andre Broekhuizen, said the owner had changed his mind about converting the 147-year-old St John the Evangelist Church into a 'posh' Airbnb.
Listed on multiple real estate websites, the description for the church this most recent time around said that it was a "piece of Lucknow history."
"Now is your chance to buy this gorgeous church of mostly bluestone construction plus some sandstone coining dating back to 1873 set across 1217sqm high on the hill in Lucknow.
"Offering grand proportions including of course exposed beams with timber floors this could be perfect for you to transform into a unique place to live or an ideal business opportunity.
"Power is connected plus there's sewer at the back with water out the front. Located just a few minutes from Orange the village of Lucknow is really going ahead with great shops and coffee plus there's the tavern undergoing renovations next door to the brand new service station."
The asking price was initially set at $550,000.
But the sale, which took place on July 7, only reached $510,000.
Mr Broekhuizen previously said the property was largely the same as when it was sold at auction in November.
"There's a few less pews and it doesn't have the bell out the front," he said.
Mr Broekhuizen declined to comment this time around.
