The 18-year-old can't wait for his chance to tackle the legendary Bathurst 1000 as part of a wildcard entry he will share with Russell Ingall.
"It's pretty cool going in, we'll go down in the history books the youngest and the oldest," he said.
"It's pretty cool because I've know Russell since I was a baby growing up and my Dad used to actually sponsor him back in the day, so we go back a long way.
"To be pairing up with a guy like him who has had so much success in the past, it feels like a really good combination."
While two-time Bathurst 1000 victor Ingall will most certainly bring experience, Feeney will add the confidence that comes with good form.
Last weekend he became the fourth driver in the history of the Super2 Series to clean sweep a Townsville round. As well as winning the two races, he topped the times sheets in the twin practice and qualifying sessions.
"You dream of dominating a race weekend, and to be on top in every single session this weekend and win both races is a dream come true," he said.
Feeney and Ingall will steer one of two wildcard entries confirmed for the Bathurst 1000, with Greg Murphy and Richie Stanaway in the other.
"I'm looking forward to it, it's what the fans want to see, more cars on the grid, so I'm excited for it," he said.
"It's cool to see, another car on the grid is always what you want to see.
"They are trying to build up a little rivalry between us ... Russell doesn't need any more firing up at the moment, he's ready to go."
