Due to the requirement of wearing masks throughout the day, mixed with a lack of numbers and snow and wet weather forecast for the region this coming Saturday, the Bathurst Wine Explorer has been cancelled.

The Bathurst Visitors Information Centre made the call on Thursday morning, which resulted in the second ever wine explorer being scrapped.
Bathurst Visitors Information Centre tourism manager Dan Cove confirmed that the wine explorer would not be going ahead on Saturday.

"Obviously audience was going to be smaller because it could only be from the 2795 postcode," he said.
"You would have to wear masks on the bus all the day and there's some certain discomfit there.
"It's also meant to be a pretty cold day on Saturday."
This Saturday would've been the wine explorer's second ever edition, but it's expected to return next month.
Mr Cove said last month's wine explorer was well received.
"It was tremendously, enthusiastically received but we didn't have a huge crowd, only a half full bus, but that's fine," he said.
"The response from the visitors was excellent. We made a few changes based on the feedback, as it is a work in progress. But those who went, they loved it."
The next wine explorer will be on Sunday, August 22.
