The event did not go ahead in 2020 but was scheduled to be held early next month before the latest COVID restrictions kicked in.
"It is with regret that we wish to advise that with current COVID restrictions, the decision has been made to cancel this event," Evans Arts Council publicity officer Carol Dobson said.
"It is hoped that by August 2022, we will be in a position to once again host this popular art show."
IN NEWS AROUND BATHURST:
Entries for the 2021 art show had been open for weeks and were due to close this Friday.
This year's guest artist was going to be Bathurst's Kim Bagot-Hiller, whose work was going to be available for sale for the duration of the show.
Evans Arts Council also runs a number of workshops through the year. Details are provided on the group's Facebook page.
