IN NEWS AROUND BATHURST:
Owner Shane Lennon said people can expect to see some traditional circus acts, as well as a couple that aren't all that common in Australia.
"We've got a lot of changes, so if somebody has seen our show before they're going to see some of the things they know and love, like Goldie the Clown and so on, but a lot of the acts are different," he said.
"The standout is Laser Beam Man, and he's the only one to travel in Australia with a circus. He dances with a laser, basically, so it's pretty futuristic.
"We have a quick-change routine, so it's a little bit like magic where they change their clothes in an instant and you go 'How did they do that?'. It's quite amazing.
"And then we've just got many other changes to the show, some different artists, some hula-hoopers, bounce juggling and our flying trapeze team do the legendary triple somersault, which is a crowd pleaser.
"There's only a couple of people in Australia attempting the feat and our trapeze artist nails it nearly every show."
The upcoming shows will be held under COVID-19 restrictions, meaning audience members will have to wear masks and sign in using the QR code.
It will be a little different, but Mr Lennon has assured that it won't affect the quality of the entertainment.
"Like any business during COVID, we have to get everyone to sign in, we all wear masks and we do the social distancing in the seating. And because it's a seated venue - ticket numbers for every seat - we're able to keep everyone separated," he said.
"The performers don't wear masks, but they're well back from the audience. It's no good seeing a great looking trapeze artist going through their routine with a mask on.
"So the entertainment itself is still the same, but like any other business we've had to conform to all the government regulations and restrictions in regards to COVID."
In addition to the shows, there will be circus workshops in the big top for children aged five to 15 years old.
Mr Lennon said the sessions will be led by performers Carlo and Diana Urban, who will teach kids skills such as juggling, tumbling, diablo and plate spinning.
The workshops will be held on July 23 (4pm), July 24 (10am), July 30 (4pm) and July 31 (10am).

Tickets can also be purchased at the gate.
Hudsons Circus will be in Bathurst until August 1.
