Circus
In town now
Roll up, roll up. Hudsons Circus is in town. Featuring 18 performers, animals and a variety of acts there will be actions, thrills and laughs aplenty. Dance Makers Collective have discovered a secret underworld of Dad dancing. They have created a new show based around their own fathers. These works are the result of Orange-based artist and poet Angela Malone being drawn to a friend's orchard to paint. Malone captures the landscape's external reality with her own emotional and inner world, working quickly and often abstracting elements. Bathurst Regional Art Gallery. 10am to 2pm.

Diesel

Mark Lizotte, aka Diesel, has had a stellar 30-year solo career, following his arrival on the Australian music scene in 1986 with Johnny Diesel and the Injectors. Dozens of singles, 16 albums, ARIAs and millions in recoord sales make him a stalwart. Diesel will be playing in Bathurst in next month on his Greatest Hits & Alone With The Blues tour, showcasing his unique blending of rock, soul, R&B and blues. Friday, September 17. 8pm.
