Who among us, seeing our house burning, would ask "tell me what it costs" before contacting the fire brigade?
The Intergenerational Panel on Climate Change Report tells us in 2019 the world has just 10 years left before climate change is irreversible.

With Mr Joyce's thinking, the cost will be the loss of our common home, the planet.
We only have to look at the catastrophic floods in Europe this past week, the 808 people dead in Vancouver City in one week this month from a heatwave, our own bushfires last year, floods this year, to know the cost of not acting.
I await with interest the policies of our local government candidates regarding the climate crisis. As we know, think globally, act locally.
