Just one matchup in the quarter-finals is yet to be decided, while the teams of Rob Shannon and Dave Mansfield, Beau Fitzpatrick and Kelvin Cooke plus Wayne Wright and Mark Gunning have already reached the semis.
The field has slowly been whittled down over the past two months with some great matchplay contests.
Shannon and Mansfield earned their way to the semi-finals by first overcoming Paul Abbott and Josh Lawler then taking down Leo Evans and Ken Welch - who had previously knocked out the top seeds Trevor and Bill Dickie.
From there they won their quarter-final clash against Jacob and Ash Lamb.
Fitzpatrick and Cooke's competition started with a win over Ben Hamer and Brian Weal, before securing a second round success against Pieter Buining and Justin Hadley.
They were then victors over Chris and Hugh McIntyre, setting up their semi-final date with Shannon and Mansfield.
Wright and Gunning got off to a brilliant start by beating number two seeds Adrian Urban and Rodney Haines.
Following that they beat Cooper Starkey and Tom Fox before besting Blake Corby and Todd Jenkins.
Bathurst Golf Club manager Brad Constable said there's some great looking matchups ahead.
"Rob Shannon and Dave Mansfield are a bit of a smokey. They're early morning golfers whose names you don't see popping up a lot championship-wise so that's really great to see," he said.
"Beau Fitzpatrick and Kel Cooke are pretty seasoned golfers, those young blokes, and they can go pretty well.
"Wayne Wright and Marky Gunning are great blokes who really enjoy their golf and very easy going. They're obviously playing really well to get themselves to this point.
"The important thing to remember in this comp is that anything can happen on the day."
Wright and Gunning will play the winner of the quarter-final between Ray Stapley/Glen Hope and Andrew Hangar/Gerry McCormack.
Meanwhile, Constable has been thrilled by the recent renovation work at the club, which is expected to wrap up around Wednesday this week.
"We've got a whole new servery area with a few cosmetic changes. Our tables have been redone, with new chairs and a change of carpet," he said.
"It's a freshen up that should help lighten things up and it looks really great."
