Having endured a run of single-digit days, Bathurst is set to enjoy temperatures well into the double figures as July comes to an end.
Bathurst's top of 11.5 degrees last Thursday was the only break in a streak of temperatures below 10 degrees that began on Monday last week and ran through to Sunday.
IN OTHER NEWS:
It was below even Bathurst's modest long-term average maximum for July of 11.3 degrees.
The Bureau of Meteorology, however, is predicting 14 degrees on Tuesday, 15 on Wednesday (with rain) and 17 degrees this weekend.
If the 17-degree day eventuates, it will be the warmest day since June 2.
