The Bathurst Remembers World War Two Exhibition is just the latest event to be postponed or cancelled since the Delta outbreak lockdown began in Sydney at the end of June.
The exhibition will now be held in four pavilions at Bathurst Showground from Friday, December 3 to Monday, December 6, according to its curator, Alan McRae.
He says the exhibition has been designed to be educational as well as remembering Bathurst and district servicemen and women by displaying around 2000 images lent by more than 200 families and individuals.
IN OTHER NEWS AROUND BATHURST:
It will feature the Snapshots of World War Two - over 600 enlarged photos of soldiers in action, military training, action on the battlefields, airmen, those on the home front, Bathurst Army Camp and more - and the Wall of Valour, featuring 130 enlarged photos of World War Two servicemen and women who have an association with Bathurst.
Mr McRae said guest exhibitors will display more than 3000 military items and World War Two memorabilia and uniforms.
The exhibition will be open from 9am to 5pm over the four days.
