Both Gormans Hill Park at Gormans Hill and and Miller Park in Windradyne have been selected to receive funding from the NSW Government's Everyone Can Play program.
The grant, provided by NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment, has been targeted towards demonstrating opportunities that can be applied to small residential park play spaces to improve inclusivity in line with the NSW Government's Everyone Can Play guidelines.
Bathurst Regional Council recreation manager Mark Kimbel said the two parks will receive an enhancement because of their popularity within the community.

"Both Gormans Hill Park and Miller Park are popular community spaces used by a variety of people and are representative of any local residential park within Bathurst," he said.
"The grant funding body has selected these sites to showcase what can be achieved within a typical general residential park to provide play space facilities that meets the Every One Can Play guidelines, without excessive costs.
"Enhancement of these parks aims to improve inclusivity for the use and enjoyment of all members of the community regardless of age, ability or background."
The NSW Government has engaged a landscape design consultant to design an appropriate landscape plan for both sites, with input from the Bathurst community now being sought.
Mr Kimbel said it's important for council to seek feedback from the local community.
"The feedback is important to gauge how and what sectors of the community currently use the spaces, what activities they do when there, amongst other information," he said.
"Residents and park users are encouraged to participate in the current survey by visiting yoursay.bathurst.nsw.gov.au before 4pm on August 9."
Previously, the Everyone Can Play program provided a total of $7 million throughout 2020-21, with $3 million for bushfire and drought-affected councils and $4 million available to all NSW councils.
The NSW Government committed $20 million over the duration of the program towards creating inclusive play spaces and ensuring Everyone Can Play.
