The blue and golds used a massive first quarter performance to set the platform for their success, running out to a 10-point lead at the first break before going on to extend the margin throughout the game.
Collegians were down on some firepower for the game but fought well under the circumstances to set themselves up well for the finals.
Bulldogs' Kate Burns said her side came out ready to play at the opening whistle.
"It was a fun game. We were expecting them to be really competitive because they had beaten Panthers the weekend before," she said.
"We were up 13-3 after the first quarter and that set us up for the rest of the game. That was a really good start."
Collegians found a bit of their groove as the game went on but the Bulldogs' big start proved the difference.
Burns said it was great to see the club's younger players coming through and taking on big challenges.

"I think them missing a few players definitely helped us out, and we had Amelia Turnbull who came up from one of our B grade teams," she said.
"She just slotted in like she had been there for us all season. She was amazing and helped us fill in the gap that we were missing."
Bathurst Netball Association will have their fingers crossed that the current lockdown doesn't extend beyond its initial one week.
If that does end up happening then, on a positive note for Bulldogs, their strong performances have at least guaranteed them the best chance of reaching the grand final.
Verdelho are now four wins from four games since the A grade split.
