Many outlets are struggling particularly eateries, restaurants and pubs, who have all lost a significant amount of income from people who eat-in.
While these places can still do takeaway (some may do delivery as well), the current COVID-19 lockdown is a challenge and Mr Ringrose wants Bathurst to support its local businesses.

"We're just trying to get people out supporting the local businesses. It's great that not too many people are out and about with the rules, but they can phone up and order and we can deliver contactless," he said.
"All the local businesses need support from the local community and especially when we can only travel five kilometres."
Mr Ringrose said he's also happy to provide a free meal to people who are struggling.
"We want to offer a service for people and if people are really struggling, they can give us a call. I'm not going to hold any judgement against them if they say, 'We can't get a feed today'," he said.
"I'll just drop something off to them. I'm happy to give to people on their word. They might be a situation where they can't pay the rent this week or it's a choice between paying the rent or feeding the family."
Harvest Café is still open for takeaway, running on adjusted hours of 9am-2pm each day of the week.
Delivery is also available by calling 6323 1811 and payment can be made over the phone.
