Bathurst Fire Station crews responded to a call at Moresby Way around 2am Friday morning, and found a shed fully ablaze.
No one was injured in the incident.
"Firefighters were able to swiftly extinguish the blaze, which caused extensive damage to the property's shed and a vehicle parked inside," Bathurst Fire Station acting station officer Greg Craft said.
"The crews did a great job extinguishing the fire and stopping any further spread to neighbouring properties."
Mr Craft said it's currently uncertain as to what caused the fire, and police are believed to be further investigating the incident.
Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
