Williams' recent Forbes Cup winner and Narromine Cup runner-up has been dominating the country cup circuit of late and punter's believe that won't be stopping this weekend, currently having him listed as a $6.50 hope.
However, a collection of talented runners such as Ready To Humble ($7.50), Rule The World ($8.50), Fast Talking ($9), Regal Stage ($10) and Wild Rocket ($12) are all in the mix to firm in value during the lead up to the jump.
From The Bush jumps out from an ideal barrier in six and will drop back three kilograms from his Narromine Cup run.
Williams has been pleased with the progress of her Poet's Voice gelding but knows he'll be in for a battle to reach his preferred front-running spot.
"He will have had a month between runs but I think his consistency and his drop in weight may indicate the short price, but I know there's horses in there that will be very, very hard to beat," she said.
"I'm happy with the way the horse is going but on a drying track I think he's going to have a job ahead of him trying to get around a few of those, because there's quite a few leaders in there too.
"He likes to be up on the speed so I can't see him being able to lead."
Dubbo is currently rated as a Good 4, a level of dryness that From The Bush hasn't raced on since February.
Williams is hoping her runner's toughness can still be utilised.
"He likes it in the lead because he's a strong galloper and he grinds away. He doesn't find much but he keeps going," she said.
"That's why he comes to the fore in wetter and softer going because he can plough through it. When the going is drier it will be interesting to see how he matches it with them because he's not a horse who sprints."
Williams will also have Chevconi resuming at Sunday's meeting in the Aquawest Country Magic Class 2 Showcase Plate (1,100m).
The Dubbo Gold Cup jumps from 4.30pm.
