However, the situation in women's premier league wasn't as easy.
At the time of the COVID-19 lockdown for regional NSW, Abercrombie FC was leading the way on 40 points, ahead of Panorama FC on 39 points but Abercrombie had played one extra game than the Goats.
In the end, the BDF committee decided to award the minor title based on average points per game, resulting in Panorama jumping Abercrombie to take the trophy.

Panorama coach Brent Huie said his team deserves the minor premiership.
"Abercrombie could definitely feel heartbroken because they had an undefeated season and they're going to get nothing unfortunately," he said.
"I think as well, given our games against each other were nil-all and 1-all, it would've been good to get a conclusion to the season.
"There were also a few other teams that played well too like Eglinton and Macquarie. We had only played Macquarie once and Abercrombie had dropped points against them, so it was a bit hard but at the end of the day they had to give it to someone."
Both Panorama and Abercrombie finished the season undefeated.
While Huie believed his team was solid all around the park, he signaled out several players such as Teegan Ward, Sarah Colman and Jess Gostelow as standouts.
Ward scored 15 goals throughout the season, Colman found the back of the net 10 times - an impressive effort from a centreback - and Gostelow finished with nine assists, the most in the team.
Huie said he's hoping to retain a majority of his squad in the lead up to the 2021 season.
"Jess is leaving and I think Morgan Sherman is leaving, but I'm hoping we'll keep together the rest of them, which would be good," he said.
In the lower women's grades, CSU claimed the minor premiership in second grade while Oberon United Wolves were the third grade minor premiers.
