Bathurst Business Chamber president Catherine Fitzsimons said the original date, October 22, would've seen the event playing with fate, with Bathurst's exit from lockdown still uncertain.
"At our last board meeting, we assessed the NSW government's roadmap and the state's vaccination rates, and agreed a November date would be more likely for a non-virtual event," Ms Fitzsimons said.
"If November doesn't work either, we'll rethink it, but we're reasonably confident the new date will allow us to go ahead in person, given the state will likely be over 70 per cent fully vaccinated by then."
"And I think a party is long overdue for our local business representatives, who have faced a tough 18 months."
