REPORTS that an inmate at Bathurst Correctional Centre returned a positive result to COVID-19 on Sunday remain unconfirmed by Justice Health.
The Western Advocate understands it was a day-12 result for the inmate.
It was initially thought the inmate was taken to Bathurst Base Hospital for treatment, but a spokesperson for Justice Health said it was not aware of any transfers from Bathurst Correctional Centre to Bathurst Base Hospital on Sunday night.
