Paul Braddon's Arrie A Blaze ($2.60) claimed the spoils in a nice quality Welcome GBOTA (307 metres) event, recovering from a less-than-ideal start to charge through along the rail for victory.
One week after winning in 17.63 seconds Arrie A Blaze came back in Monday's wet weather to score success in a time of 17.69.
Cowra trainer Braddon said Kennerson Park continues to be a venue of choice for his star veteran sprinter.
"He really likes it here, this old fella," he said.
"He really enjoys the short trip here. He's a really bad traveller in the car, in the trailer, and he tends to go better here than he does at Dubbo.
"It's an hour for me to get here but it's two and a half hours to get to Dubbo. He tends to lose his way sometimes after that longer trip and frets a little bit."
Arrie A Blaze had some work to do from the start from box four when Freeway Lass, to his outside, gained an early length on the field.

Braddon's runner also had favourite Aston Current ($2.50, Paul Britt) jump out level with him to the inside.
Arrie A Blaze was able to draw up level with Freeway Lass quickly and hit the front at the turn for home.
Freeway Lass briefly cut off Aston Current, who had followed Arrie A Blaze through along the rail, and that gave the leader the opportunity to catch a winning break.
The straightening for home for tell whether Arrie A Blaze would be challenged down the home stretch but the leader looked sharp all the way around the bend.
The gap between Arrie A Blaze and Aston Current stayed at two and a half lengths from that point all the way to the finish line.
Zipper By Two ($4, Rob Tyler) was third.
