Kellie, Louise, Tracey and Tony make up the Bathurst Showground Land Manager, which has been announced as a semi-finalist in the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment Crown Land Manager Excellence category of the Community Achievement Awards.
Administrator Andrew Fletcher is proud of their achievement.
"The reason that we've been nominated is recognition of the staff out there; we have a manager and three other staff that do everything that most people don't ever see," he said.

"I think it's going to be particularly rewarding for them to be acknowledged.
"We have a number of events on out there during the year [and] 365 days a year they're out there mowing lawns, repairing things and making it pretty and usable and safe for the rest of us to go along for a bit of entertainment."
Particularly rewarding for them to be acknowledged.
The Community Achievement Awards acknowledge individuals, communities and businesses throughout regional and rural NSW.
The members of the Showground Land Manager have also had to deal with the challenges of COVID over the past 18 months.
"I think it's an amazing amount of work that four people get through," Mr Fletcher said.
"We survive on what we generate as revenue from either the caravan and camping or hiring out the venues.
"Out of that, we've got to maintain 35 buildings and the whole site is heritage-listed, so that's got some challenges."
Mr Fletcher said there are some exciting things on the horizon for the showground, including the completion of building upgrades.
After securing more than $3 million from the NSW Government, the showground's heritage buildings are being restored.
There are also two big events coming up, pending COVID.
Long track racing is set to return to the arena as well as a World War Two exhibition, both of which have been in the works for a while now.
The members of the Bathurst Showground Land Manager will find out on Wednesday, September 29 if they are finalists in the event.
The Persuader's Steve Semmens is also up for an award.
