Western NSW Local Health District reported 15 new cases in the 24 hours to 8pm on Thursday, one of which was in Bathurst and 10 in Dubbo.
There was one new case in Blayney and one in Orange.
It was a much better result for Bathurst than the six new cases reported in the 24 hours to 8pm on Wednesday.
Mr Toole reported there were 297 daily tests for Bathurst on Thursday, down on the 435 daily tests on Wednesday.
There were 12 deaths in the 24-hour reporting period, three of whom were residents of aged care facilities in Dubbo.
A new walk-in vaccination clinic which has opened at Kelso is having its last day today.
