Bathurst's case in the latest 24-hour reporting period was one of 17 for the Western NSW Local Health District, which included 10 in Dubbo and one in Mudgee.
Member for Bathust Paul Toole reported that Bathurst's new case was a household contact and it took the city's total active cases to 22 (with 32 recovered).

Mr Toole reported that there were 295 daily tests for Bathurst on Friday - almost the same as the 297 tests on Thursday.
There were six deaths in the 24-hour reporting period, all in western or south-western Sydney.
