Bathurst is enjoying a weekend of temperatures in the high teens and Monday will be similar, but a cold change is on the way that will mean a top of only just over 10 degrees on Tuesday.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The bureau's meteye snow forecaster shows falls south, east and west of Bathurst from 1am onward on Tuesday at the usual locations, including Jenolan Caves and around Oberon.
With a chilly Tuesday out of the way, though, Bathurst is set to have more traditional September temperatures for the rest of the week.
Oberon had a light dusting of snow, and struggled to a maximum of just six degrees, in late September last year as a wintry cold front hit the region.
