Chifley Police District Acting Superintendent Bruce Grassick said police continue to work with a number of teams across the region.
"Our operation encompasses all LGAs within our police district, including general areas and stay-at-home areas," he said.
"We are still working hand-in-hand with youth command, regional enforcement squad and traffic and highway command and other sections in relation to the compliance operation."
And while there's been a big push to make sure residents are complying with the Public Health Order, Supt Grassick said officers have been conducting a number of wellbeing checks to people affected with COVID-19.
"Importantly, we've been working extensively in the wellbeing space," he said.

"We've conducted over 1050 wellbeing checks on people who may be in situations where they might be a positive case, a close contact or a secondary close contact.
"We've been ensuring those people are being contacted by health and other support services."
Supt Grassick also explained that the highway operation in Lithgow, to ensure that those coming into the region are allowed to do so, will continue until further notice.
"Our officers are still working hand-in-hand with traffic and highway command in relation to that site at Lithgow," he said.
"That site will continue to operate until such time it is no longer required."
