Despite COVID-19 forcing Supercars to cut the combined Super2-Super3 series to five rounds and alter venues, they have every intent of declaring champions at the conclusion of the season.
That final round will be held at Mount Panorama from November 30 to December 5 as part of the Bathurst 1000 support program.
Anderson, who at one stage led the Super 3 Series, currently sits in third place. He has accumulated 678 points in his Ford Falcon thus far, with Nash Morris (789) and Reef McCarthy (747) the drivers currently positioned ahead of him.
Before the season-ender at Bathurst, Anderson will have the chance to claw back some of that deficit at the Sydney SuperSprint on November 19-20.
"As was the case in 2020, drivers and teams have had a season filled with disruption caused by COVID-19 and we thank them all for persevering through these challenges," Supercars chief operating officer Shane Howard said.
"Over the opening three rounds of 2021, this combined category has delivered memorable door-to-door racing and unearthed some genuine stars of the future.
"We will now begin planning on formats and scheduling for these events and look forward to crowning new champions at Mount Panorama in December."
