Following last week's two-year-old heats it's the older juveniles' turn to try and earn a spot in the $125,000 final, with two heats each of the fillies plus the colts and geldings to take place.
Eglinton trainer Nathan Hurst has one runner in each of the series - one rated a strong chance and another looking to snare the upset.
Eagle Commander may have disappointed in his last start but prior to that he put together a string of solid performances at Parkes, which makes him one to watch in the second of colts and geldings heats.
He gets a start from gate two with likely favourite Western Bill and last-start winner Cassius Deck on either side of him.
Taminisha Terror also shapes up as the other one to watch in the seven-horse heat.
"I think he's in with a great chance. It's a very open race and very even," Hurst said.
"Things didn't go right for him the other night at Bathurst but I think he'll back up alright and be a lot better. I don't think he'll be too far away.
"He gets out pretty good so we'll wait and see what happens. If he can get out and get to the fence that we'll be a big advantage.
"He's always shown us a little bit and he did well as a two-year-old. He's continue that form into his three-year-old season. The better couple are probably in the other heat so that opens it up for him and the others."
Kashed Up and Lyrical Genius shape up as the ones likely to battle it out in the opening heat.
Hurst also has Gabbys Reason going around in the first of the fillies heats.
"It's a good draw for her and she'll probably just try to get a sit somewhere. She had a spell and had a few issues that we had to fix," he said.
"Her run last week was really good. She just had no luck. She'll definitely be up to them. She raced over Gold Crown time and did a good job then. There's a couple of smart ones there but she'll just need that ounce of luck."
Bernie Hewitt's unbeaten Winona Writer will almost certainly start the heat as favourite as she chases five straight wins to start her career.
Racing at Bathurst Paceway will get underway from 6.45pm.
