The six-week program takes place in term one and focuses on building the children's STEM [science, technology, engineering and mathematics] skills in a fun environment.
Each week the children are presented with a different challenge, like building a transportation device that can move a certain distance carrying a certain weight, or building a structure that can stand a metre high without falling over.
The program also tests the children's ability to work together as a group.
The Lego Challenge Club runs from 4pm to 4.45pm on Thursdays. It is open to children aged five to 12.
To book a spot or for further inquiries contact the Bathurst Library.
