St Pat's previously flagged a need for more volunteers moving forward, especially with the launch of the Western Premiership next year.
The meeting, held at the St Pat's clubhouse on Tuesday evening, was well attended, with Goldsmith saying the club is moving in the right direction in terms of volunteers.
"We had a really good turnout for the meeting, including some of our senior players, which was impressive," he said.

"Everyone had an opportunity to speak through the issues and gave their point of view. We're going to have another meeting in two weeks time when everyone has had a chance to think about things and come back with some more ideas.
"We'll go forward from there."
Goldsmith said the likes of volunteers, travel and developing junior pathways were some of the topics discussed at Tuesday's meetings.
"I think NSWRL has massively underestimated the number of volunteers and the workload of volunteers at sporting clubs. That gave cause for a fair bit of talk," he said.

"We talked about the need for the senior club to have pathways for our juniors to follow for years to come. That's not just the boys, but girls in league tag and tackle in the future.
"Obviously there was discussion about the travel. We'll need to go at least twice a year to Group 11 territory to play games. There was also talk about semi-final structure and how that would play out.
"The pleasing thing for me was that everyone had the chance to talk, it was pretty positive. A lot of people have committed to help next year. You wouldn't normally have people saying they're ready to help when it's only October."
Goldsmith did confirmed that current president Graeme Ward is not intending to continue his role for the upcoming 2022 Group 10 season.
"Graeme Ward made it clear he wasn't going to go around next year but he wants to be involved in the club some way," he explained.
"That was a really positive sign because Graeme is a hell of a person, he's done so much for our club and the fact that he's going to be around helping, that was a big bonus."
St Pat's will hold a follow up meeting on October 26, before it's annual general meeting at the clubhouse on Tuesday, November 9, at 5.30pm.
