The disability service provider is putting the call out to community members who may be interested in creating their own gingerbread house, with a number of 'do-it-yourself' kits available.
Glenray marketing manager Elisa Miller said the initiative has been designed to constitute the organisation's annual fundraising event.
"Because of COVID, it's been too difficult to plan a larger fundraising event, so we've decided to launch this initiative to help fill the gap," Ms Miller said.
"We feel it's a cool idea that people are bound to have a lot of fun with."
Ms Miller said the kits are available for delivery anywhere in Australia, and can be purchased online.
"They're great gift options, especially for the grandchildren at Christmas," she said.
"The kits are produced by a company in the Blue Mountains, so the other angle is we're supporting a relatively local business in the process."
Ms Miller said the proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards new equipment and engaging experiences for Glenray clients.
"We're a not-for-profit organisation, so we're always looking for ways to improve support and experiences for people with a disability in our community," she said.
"The proceeds will fund activities and excursions aimed at improving the wellbeing of our clients."
Each kit cost $40, with gluten free variants also on offer.
Orders close November 25. To order, visit the Glenray Facebook page.
